Husband has just come home from a “date”. I don’t resent this date girl so much now that he is seeing another girl (part of an awesome couple we have just started dating, more on them later!), but I do feel terribly icky about the fact that he had a shower there, and not here.
Why? I have no idea. He said it was a 5 minute shower, she has no a/c, big deal.
But he also apologized for being late, so to me … he could have been less late and had his shower here, not had the need to apologize, and everything would have been cool beans.
There are times when little tiny things like this can irk so much and I don’t know why. There’s nothing to it really, but it upsets me a little and I roll with that. I’m sure copious amounts of alcohol and the mood brought on by my prior post doesn’t really help the situation, but there it is.
In other news, I’m going to write a post soon about clarity and being prepared for situations that open relationships can deliver. I’m looking forward to it and hope you are too!
In other, other news, a lovely man on my msn list just told me I’m more than a pretty face, I’m a good idea. Perhaps one of the sweetest things anyone has ever said to me. I feel better and ready for a good sleep now.
