Oh the familiarity... Only just found your blog so apologies for late commenting :P But yeah, been there, done that. I think one thing that has helped me and my SO in similar situations is being able to clarify the difference between jealousy and exclusion - that lack of direct communication upon you entering that situation sets up a &#039;we know something you don&#039;t know&#039; dynamic which puts you on a back foot and therefore not a great place from which to react to significant news, and as you say it becomes a two layer thing of &#039;it&#039;s not what you did but how you told me about it&#039;. But taking the problem away from jealousy and the sex act and focusing it more clearly on the moment of reconnecting after an event has helped us remember to be more gentle with each other.</description>
